Mutt Day is a day to celebrate those special mixed breeds in our lives. Too often Mutts go under appreciated. However the canine world has taken large strides from where we once were. Mutts are now being utilized in the working force where they once were over looked. Mutts still tend to populate the majority of shelters and rescues. Mutts make great companions and should definitely be considered when and if you are in the market for a new family friend.
